Liberland comes to the United States

It’s been two months since the small freedom-loving nation of Liberland was founded.

Vít Jedlička, President of the Free Republic of Liberland, made the following statement today:

I’d like to share the latest developments and challenges with you.

I’ll also be coming to the United States in July to meet with fans of free markets and liberty, policymakers, journalists, and future Liberland citizens. I hope you’ll be one of them!
From July 8 to 11, I’ll be at FreedomFest at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. FreedomFest bills itself as the “world’s largest gathering of free minds,” and it is where I will share the story of the world’s newest country, the free-market nation of Liberland. I’m addressing the conference onSaturday, July 11 at 10:30 AM, and look forward to meeting many of you there.
After Las Vegas, I plan to take the message of Liberland to Washington, D.C., tentatively July 12 to 16, where we’re planning to meet with leading free-market think tank scholars, activists and future Liberland citizens. We also have tentative dates planned in the northeast, including New York and New Hampshire. Please let me know if you’d like to meet up!
If you have the chance to meet with me, discuss investment potential, and talk about the future of freedom in the world, please make arrangements to do so soon. If you cannot make it to one of the events, please consider supporting the needed task of achieving recognition for Liberland on our donations page.
They say freedom is something you can’t have unless you’re willing to give it to others. Well, we are ready, willing and able to do so! Kindly stay tuned for more details and dates for my trip – and find below a link to my State of Liberland Address for June 2015.
