Legendary Cannabis Activist Tommy Chong Launches Product to Swipe Away Cannabis, Cigarette and Cigar Odor From Clothing

Following a successful stint on “Dancing with the Stars”, legendary cannabis activist, pop culture icon, and Grammy award-winning comedian Tommy Chong reveals he is back to his roots as a pioneer in the cannabis industry with the announcement of the launch of Tommy Chong’s Smoke Swipe, the breakthrough product designed to swipe away the smell of cannabis and tobacco odor on clothing.

Chong teamed up with Reviver Clothing Swipes to develop a product that keeps usage discreet, a need that is more relevant than ever with the growing legalization of both recreational and medicinal marijuana.

“While our culture is rapidly accepting cannabis consumption as a way of life, it’s fair to acknowledge that smelling like cannabis in many public settings may not be cool,” admits Chong.  “I could have used my Tommy Chong’s Smoke Swipe 10 years ago to save me from a lot of headache,” he jokes.  “Now, those who partake in it can keep it to themselves.”

“We are honored to collaborate with the legendary Tommy Chong,” says Ben Kusin, CEO and Founder of Reviver.  “With his input, we were able to develop the ideal product that’s long overdue for cannabis consumers.”

The Swipes are portable, reusable, and highly effective for those wanting to keep cannabis usage a private occasion.  The customer simply places a swipe on their fingers, rubs the applicator across clothing to neutralize odors, and replaces it into its re-sealable package.  No more awkward stares.  No more worries.

Tommy Chong’s Smoke Swipe is available for $10.99 per 3-pack at www.chongswipes.com and will be landing in head shops and dispensaries nationwide in the coming months.

Launched in 2014 after Founder and CEO Ben Kusin realized there was a niche in the market for a hassle-free solution to keeping clothes and hair smelling fresh on the go, Reviver Clothing Swipes have quickly become a hit with smokers and non-smokers alike. Reviver comes in several variations including the Reviver Clothing Swipe, Spark with Pheromones for Him and Her, and the Reviver Pets line. Iconic actor, best-selling author, and Grammy Award-winning comedian Tommy Chong is perhaps best known as one-half of the legendary cannabis-fueled comedy duo Cheech & Chong which minted six gold records and released eight films during their reign, for which Chong also co-wrote and directed.  Chong went on to star in several films and television shows, including his regular character, “Leo” on the popular series, “That 70s Show.”

After a nine-month prison sentence in 2004 for shipping bongs to Pennsylvania, the comic became a passionate advocate for cannabis freedom and fairness.  In 2012 Chong announced he was battling prostate cancer and decided to combat his illness with a controversial cannabis oil protocol.  On July 5, 2012, he revealed that the cannabis treatment had been effective and he is now cancer free.  He continues to be an outspoken advocate for cannabis, which he credits for supporting his healthy and active lifestyle.
